Colon hydrotherapy, also known as a "colonic" or "colon irrigation," is a procedure that irrigates the colon or large intestine with water to remove waste, toxins, and buildup. It’s performed by a certified practitioner.
The average colon is 5 feet long and holds 2 quarts of matter.
At Flume, we use the Woods Gravity Method. This type of colonic uses a gravity system to cleanse the colon gently.
How it works
The first session includes going over your medical history and a colonic session, which can take up to 90 minutes. A regular session is around 45 minutes.

To prepare for your session, it is recommended that you do not eat for an hour or two before. Coming in hydrated is always helpful and welcome.

Emily has been a massage therapist since 2003. Her passion for health and the body led her to get certified in Colon Hydrotherapy. She attended The Woods Hygienic Institute in 2024 and 2025 to complete the certification.
Flume is located in the basement of a cute little white house on the corner of 4th and Lincoln. The upstairs of the residence facing Lincoln is an Airbnb, and you will need to access us by parking on 4th Street. Go through the gate on 4th Street, and there are a handful of stairs that will lead you to this beautiful space. Please look for signage to guide you down.
